Hello, everybody! Especially my future self. I have decided that in the first post of my blog I am going to explain why I am writing it and what I hope to achieve with it.

First of all, I intend this blog to be an online notebook in which I will document theoretical and practical concepts about software development and computing in general. As Carlos Blé wrote in his post (spanish only) “I recommend you to write in a blog”, I write this blog for myself, or rather, for my future self, so that, if I ever forget how to do something or I do not remember it clearly, I will be able to remember it quickly with my own notes instead of searching in Google or Stack Overflow someone who has written about the same topic. Also, if someone else finds my blog and it is useful for them to learn something new or reinforce what they know, so much the better.

Another goal I pursue with the blog is to improve my writing skills, both in Spanish and English, and to expand my knowledge of Markdown (something I have wanted to do for a long time, but have not had the chance to do so until now).

Although it may not seem so at first glance, this post also has its own function: to remind me of the initial objective for which I started this project and to allow me to review in the future if I am fulfilling it or if I am deviating.

I hope to learn many things and be able to explain them clearly!
